Ik hoorde dit nummer laatst in een film ofzo, en sindsdien had ik hem de hele dag in de kop! Van piano en violen omgezet naar wat gitaarpartijtjes 💃 🎶: "Por Una Cabeza" #tango

I love this song. Where did you get the backing track?
I made it myself 😄
So good. You should post that too. Lol
very relaxing 👍👍
I've been watching Jan Akkerman on UA-cam today to see how he plays this song. He does not play The Melody this high up on the neck. As such, it most definitely changes the tone. But thanks very much anyway.
Haha thanks. Yeah, he also plays a Gibson and not a Telecaster. I look forward to seeing your version with the 'right tone'.
Where is Chet as the title labels
Muy bueno!
Hoi Eddy.
👍👍🎶🎸
Thank you so much !!!!!!!!!!! <3
Great job, love Jim's style.
Great, just looking around for the chords for this song when I got you, very nice, the beauty of you tube
Very special.... My request is September skies
Do you have the tabs to this song?
I do, I could e-mail it to you if you want
@@gitaareddy I don't think youtube allows you to share your email on the comments
@@gitaareddy is any other way you can send me the tabs? I have been searching everywhere for a copy that someone made.
@@lucky_avacado665 if you leave a mail address without the @ I think it'll work
@@gitaareddy I've tried many different ways, and they all don't work. can you send the tabs through discord or on a one drive link?
Wow Eddy! What a great sound. You really know how to get the most out of your guitars. You know what's coming next? You guessed right. "Damn I wish I could play like you!!. -:) Thanks for this great tune. Excellent!!
Thanks CJ! 😀
So nice. What a great style you have and I'll say it again Eddy "Damn I wish I could play like you"!!
Thank you so much!
So nice. I love the split screens and it's a great song. The guitar reminds me of an old Silvertone with the single lipstick pick-up. Actually it was made for Sears by Dan Electro (Out of pressed wood). The case it came in was also an amplifier with a Jensen speaker. The price new was $75 for the amp and guitar. Nowadays Dan Electros are somewhat sought after because of their 60's sound. What is the guitar you're using? You have quite a collection and they all sound great. I wish I could play half as well as you. Good work! Reminds me of Chet.
Thanks! It's a custom built tele. I found the body online, and had it built by a local guitar maker.
@@gitaareddy cool guitar. I think I mentioned in one of your vids that I used to shop in Manny’s on 48th and Ave of the americas in NYC. Probably the most famous shop in the USA. The likes of Hendricks and Lennon and so many would go there. In fact there was some words between Hendricks and the legendary “Stradivari” of guitar makers John D’Angelico ( one of his more famous guitars is worth north of 1 million bucks) Its called the teardrop and he only made 2. One is MIA. Once Hendricks spotted John and said “John when are you going to make me a guitar? John replied “When you learn how to play”. Obviously because he abused instruments and no way would John make him or anyone else a guitar that would be treated like an animal. Back in the day Manny would usually have one of D’Angelico guitars in the window. Back then an American made white falcon was a whopping $600 and a new Volkswagen $1800 and an original John D’Angelico $3000. Half the price of a new Cadillac. Today some company bought the name and makes copies. I also have a connection with Hendricks (indirectly) Love your style. Wonderful playing !
Oh damn. The whole reason for my short story was to tell you that right next store is a place that makes the greatest Fender copies. And across the street from there is another music store that sells vintage guitars and makes Pensa Sur guitars ( I think they’re still there) When in NYC check them all out.The place is Rudy’s and they made Pensa Suhr guitars for Mark Knofler and of course others for sale.
@@cjc4765 thanks man!

really cool! do you have tabs?
I do! Well, of the part of the song I'm playing here, I didn't figure out the rest of the song. I can mail it to you if you want..
Hello Eddy great, you wouldn´t have a lead sheet would you?
Damn. I wish I could play like that ! Great! Love the vintage Fender also I think it is 🤔? Anyway sounds terrific!
Thanks!! I've been a Jim Campilongo fan for quite some years, he has the best licks 🔥 The tele is actually 2 weeks old 😊
@@gitaareddy Actually your playing reminds me of Chet ( smooth) ! The guitar had me fooled! You got me there. Still sounded great.👍
@@cjc4765 thank you, I really appreciate it. I'm a big Chet/Merle fan like Jim.
@@gitaareddy I like the way you did Bluebell with the split screen. That was the best vid. I love the song also. Dates way back to the turn of the 20th century.
@@cjc4765 I love that song! It was the first fingerstyle song I learned, and I still play it all the time :-) Time for a new thumbpicking challenge!
Just fantastic! 1:23 is magical! I wish I could play like that! This song is about 120 years old, written around 1900 and featured in The Jolson Story sung by a then 15 year old Jolson lip synched by Scotty Beckett ( one of the original "Little Rascals") and sung by the late Rudy Wissler. It's a great scene and can be seen on UA-cam and should be to appreciate this song even more.
Im a little late, this is so helpful! Thanks man! Can I request? Can you do Brian Setzer's version of Sweet Lorraine too 😁
Yes please I'd love to see sweet Loraine also
I'm learning Sweet Lorraine too right now.
Immense! !
Really nice work Eddie! Hope you can do more Merle covers 👌
Thanks! Always trying to learn some new ones 😁
throw this up on spotify love to have this on my list
immaculate. merle and chet are the reason i can say i enjoy country music. we may still get our New Vegas future, who knows, but either way, i hope this style of guitar never dies
